The City of Oneida is an excellent place to make a life.  We're a unique community with tree lined streets, sprawling parks and play grounds, places to shop and affordable housing.  We offer an excellent school system, skilled health care facility and a high quality work force with an excellent work ethic.  Within 30 miles of our City there are many things to do and places to go; from ski centers, antique shops, Utica and Syracuse theaters, Turning Stone casino, numerous golf courses, Adirondack Mountains, colleges, State Parks, Oneida Lake and great fishing.  But this City of Oneida, " A Little of America at its Best", needs to be protected.

This fall's election is about experience and using that experience to get through hard times.  When I took office, many services that our residents were used to had been removed due to budgetary concerns.   They were restored in spite of financial challenges, and we have many other challenges that we have taken on.  Snow is removed from the downtown sidewalks, weeds are sprayed so they  won't grow in our downtown sidewalks during the summer, our Parks are beautiful with a playground added at Allen park and flowers throughout, mosquitoes are being sprayed once again and our youth and athletic groups have safe parks to play in.

If elected, there are a number of initiatives that I will support.  I will coninue to support all initiatives to revitalize downtown and the City in general.  I will support our businesses presently located in our City by keeping City costs down and fire and police safety up.  We will take this beautiful City of ours and market it so that new businesses will want to locate here and create jobs.  Two businesses will be annouced later this fall with each bringing in 25 mortgage eligible jobs, so we are already on our way.  With my six years as Mayor, I am committed to smart responsible government.  A government that supports public initiatives and events.  These past two years were tough ones and we are not out of the woods yet, but it's time to once again to work together to make a better tomorrow.
